07/08/08. ...followed by the second one. The track opened late this evening, due to recovery of a crashed car and repairs to the barriers. We just had time to get our four laps in - one after another with no breaks in between. My first two laps were plagued with traffic, but I found some space on the third lap and had a lot of fun. Halfway round on my fourth lap, the heavens opened. I was only weraing a polo shirt and jeans and got soaked through. We'd arranged to meet the Cobra chaps again in the pizzeria after the track closed. I didn't have time to go back to the B&B to change, so I was still dripping wet whilst eating my pizza!
