06/08/08. Ready to leave for Germany from the Belle View hotel in Hockai, near Spa. We stayed here for two nights (the 4th and 5th). The Belle View only seems to operate as a B&B, so on both evenings we ate in the restaurant of the Beau Site hotel, about 50 yards away. It was full of people (mostly Brits) who were also doing the Spa track days, so we had two very lively evenings with good food, excellent company and more than a few Stellas.

The Belle View's owner (pictured on the right) let Ken park his car in one of his garages. As a thank you, Ken took him out for a blast in the Marlin. When they returned, the owner opened his other garage to reveal his pride and joy - a 1951 Citroen Light 15. He then took Ken and me for a ride around the local roads in it. Very enjoyable!
